ABM Panel Galvalume AZ-55
Galvalume® (code: AGA) ABM Panel is a 29 gauge mill finish panel which is also available in 26 gauge. Galvalume AZ-55 is the trade name for a patented steel sheet product having a highly corrosion resistant coating of 55% aluminum, 44% zinc alloy, 1% silicon on top of a steel substrait.
Typical applications are residential and commercial roofs, siding or high temperature applications.
Galvalume ABM panel is an unpainted panel that stays a lighter appearance than what weathered galvanized panel will, therefore it has excellent heat reflection properties like aluminum.
Warranty
Galvalume ABM Panel AZ-55 carries a 25-year limited warranty. Galvalume is known to last a longer time. However it is not recommended in the following applications.
- Contact with lead or copper. This includes treated lumber since it contains copper.
- Harshly corrosive or unusual environments, proximity to sea water, areas with excessive water, chronic corrosive chemical exposure, near animal confinement.
- Quarry's, cement plants or similar applications
